Hello can someone point me to the last version of theater that worked with server 4.7?

I'm sure it's on github somewhere, but I am finding it hard to find.

I downgraded my server and would like to do the same with theater.

I can not stand the UI changes and other updates that have happen since 4.8.

Also is there a way to stop theater from auto updating like with the server?

Why can't you just give me a straight answer to my question?

I asked for a download link and explanation on how to disable auto update.

I should not have to explain myself. I am a paying custom.

I want the old version of theater before all the UI changes that have been discussed AT LENGTH in other topics.

I not here to have a discussion. I only want what I have asked for.

Can you do that or not?

HI, the Theater UI updates automatically independent of the rest of the app, although this is about to change when our new Windows app rolls out, where everything will be together in one download.

I do NOT want the current or any future versions of theater. I simply want the old UI back. I don't not like a single thing you have changed since the release of 4.8 server.

So the new app wont do anything to help. lol

You and I have already discussed this in many other topics. I am not going to go over it again with you. Waste of your time and mine.

Yeah that new app. "Coming soon"........for the past 6 months......or maybe even longer than that.

I am just going to uninstall theater. Never wanted to use it anyway, but I wasn't given a choice after you guys sunset legacy support for WMC/MB3

I will just have to find an alternative.

They don't exist that I know of so either previous are not public or don't exist as update most of the time just happen within the same app version.

As Theater has a system.xml also you can disable updates.

Hi, the only topic I've seen you mention feedback in is relating to the missing "See all" function, but you can now do this in Theater, right?

Additionally, the function is restored in 4.8.6 which should be released in the next couple days.

Don't know if it was ever there but also about TV mode header links.

Actually, just looked in 4.7 and TV mode had header links also just no "see all" (from a web client perspective) but I personally always hide the "see all" as they were duplicates of header links.

So all apps need updated to reincorporate header links.

 

With the question of should Movie & Shows be one combine link or two individual links?  per other discussions.

I used TV mode with an old WMC IR remote. Both android and desktop mode don't work well with remotes. I am not sitting in front of my Projection screen with mouse & keyboard. So neither of those modes are an option.

As long as there is forced horizontal scrolling in TV mode with no option for vertical scrolling than I have no intention on reinstalling.

Have you tried the new Group By button that puts you in complete control?

Where is this setting? How about a screen shot?

I am not sure you and I are talking about the same thing. I don't want to have to side scroll though long list of things. It's annoying.

This is what I am talking about, and that is just and example of it.

There are plenty of forced side scrolling through out the app.

Here are just a few examples: (images below)

For example: there is no way to view a full cast of movie in vertical view. You HAVE to scroll through the whole list of actors. Which could be 100+ people long.

Anywhere there is forced horizontal/ side scroll I would like an option to view it vertically.

Again I do not use Desktop/mobile Views modes. 

I do not care if there is an option for this in those modes! That dose not help me one bit.

I use TV mode! With a remote control.
