How do I get emby to run .gz files?

Quiero agregar un archivo .js pero comprimido para que parezca un archivo .gz, pero no puedo hacer que emby ejecute estos archivos comprimidos de esta manera.

HI, there is no support for media inside gz files. Best thing to do is unzip them.

I don't see how there's any benefit to doing that, the .js files that are part of the application install aren't zipped either. I doubt that your .js files are that big.
