XXXXXX has accepted your invitation to share the server Server through Media Browser.

 

Problem is I never invited anyone to share my server. I really hope this is not the beginning of a trend where just anybody can get remote access to my media server.

Not at this time. The only device showing as connected is my ipad. FYI, Have not update to Version 3.0.5421.1 yet.

 

The user name I blanked out is a member on the forum. I can send his name by PM if you wish.

Hi love this feature so far. I do have one issue, my guest, no matter what movie is clicked, only trailers are being played. Oddly, it is not even a trailer of the selected movie, it is a random trailer. Even I click/hover over the movie and click the play icon, trailers are being played. I have only tried the new feature on my own computers but on different browsers. One other thing, do I need any special codec to play via the browser on my mobile device if am not using the actual MB app? This shows me selecting the movie

Ah ok, I see what you mean. If I am correct, shouldn't the trailer or trailers play then the main feature kick in? Or, do I have to turn off that mode first before attempting to play the main feature? Thanks for the rapid response

Well something is definitely wrong, cause even with Cinema mode turned off, I still only get trailers. I am going to reboot the server and see if that helps.

Sorry about that, I figured it out, I just needed to login to the server as an admin and turn that off. I guess guest can manage their own modes.

I believe the OP's problem originates from his MB forum username... simple persons first name.. confusion between local profile name and forum name on the requestor's part.
