I changed the font size of the apple tv settings but it didn't change in the emby app

Hi, that's strange. Did you try force closing the Emby app and reopening it?

Yes, but the translation font size has not changed.

As far as I can determine, there is no way to change the actual font size on ATV. 

You can enable 'Hover Text' in accessibility which will display the selected item's label at the top of the screen in a large font, a bit like a subtitle, but it doesn't actually change any in-app text.  This would be the case for all ATV apps, not just Emby.
