I used to have multiple rokus but way back after a certain update emby would always just stop playing. Issues never got fixed & I love roku but decoded as I was replacing my tvs or devices I started to move away from them. I only have a roku tv in my daughters room & to this day it still stops playing every so often. I know the developers are not fans of rokus programing language & they are limited to what they can do in comparison to android but roku is the #1 streaming device out there.

Thanks to @ebrand the DEV team. They seems to have margianlly resolves the jumping issue.  

Using the MOVIE TAB (titles) able to go from #-Z in about 10 seconds, with a large libray of close to 6000 movies, thats pretty good. Able to go back and forth from letter to letter instantly. The go to emby home dashbaord then back into movies and again #-Z in 10 seconds. This is much better than the stalling out..

@ebrno because its been a long time & i actualy staryed replacing my tvs with samaung tvs which was another mistake. I'm gonna say the emby ui on samsung is beautiful & I love the picture quality on the samsung tv but for samsung not allow removal of many preinstalled apps, adding apps that can't be un-installed & even the bloated tv ui..... I have been left very disappointed. I know everyone says get the shield but they are starting to get a ton of ads on their devices also..... I know I strayed a little bit..... my apologies

FWIW: I have a shield that i almost never use. I just do not like its behavior anymore even using a custom launcher. I have retired it for now.
I "may" resurrect the shield to dedicate it to audio playback but even audio gets screwy under the new Shield operation system. I get exits and restarts when handling audio and, so far, i have not been able to get enough stability from my shield to justify moving my audio consumption from the computer it currently runs on.

It is a good thing that my eyes are pretty bad ay my age. I can primarily shop for price when I shop for TVs. Almost all of them have a plenty good enough picture for my old eyes.
