I have installed version 49.0.15 and it seems to work on Windows,
 but it doesn't open on Mac

From my nas ts 464 I have Emby installed, 
when I open it from Windows it opens fine, 
but from the Mac the program link does not open

What program on Mac? How are you trying to open it? What exactly happens?

I don't have the app installed on the Mac, I open it from the NAS, 
does it have to be installed on the Mac?

From my mac OS, I go into my nas which is where I have Emby installed, 
and from there I open Emby but it doesn't open
