playback cuts in and out

I'm having a problem with Emby, the media stops playing and then starts playing again. I don't know if it's due to transcoding or not, but I've also deactivated Authorize subtitle extraction on the fly in the transcoding settings (I used to have this problem, but I haven't tried it since).
