Yes, DDNS is never going to work if you have CGNAT - DNS will just point to the incorrect WAN IP ..

This will be the best solution - as your ISP will move you off CGNAT onto an addressable real public IP.   DDNS will then also work or you can of course use a real DNS A-Record also (as the IP never changes).
