Emby Theatre suddenly dropping frames - noticeable during playback

My guess is that the other videos are either/or 8 bit/lower resolution and you hadn't noticed. Your CPU is struggling. 

Yes, my recommendation is get new gpu. And make sure it supports all the formats you want. Probably an RTX.

I’ve ordered new graphics card and hopefully it will get rid of the issue. All the advice was great and really appreciated. Didn’t have this issue before though with the present hardware and it started after a server upgrade so I’m hoping the issue won’t still be there with new gpu. Every 10mins or so frames are dropped with noticeable stutter. It doesn’t happen with other media players or mpv as standalone. Looking forward to updated emby theatre. Been using it for years
