random1planet 0 Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 We have had an issue on the Nvidia Shield where skipping the intro up skipping forward makes the audio out of sync. The only way to resolve is to exit out and then start playback from the resume point. This issue has been going on for 6 months on two different devices and on all shows or movies. I just assumed it would get fixed so never raised it before. It would be great if this could be resolved.
justinrh 259 Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 (edited) This is a known problem and has been reported a few times. I don't know if Emby is working on it or not. Are you playing TS files? I can usually get audio synced by backing up once. Edited April 21, 2024 by justinrh

Luke 42077 Posted April 26, 2024 Posted April 26, 2024 @random1planet Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
razclud 4 Posted December 24, 2024 Posted December 24, 2024 happens to me on every movie, some worse than others, the only way to fix it is to go to the settings and click recalibrate or whatever that option is called and it works until i skip forward again. Sometimes it loses the subtitle and i could not get it to work again.

unrais 14 Posted August 8, 2025 Posted August 8, 2025 An official "back hack" would be good, perhaps by having a checkbox in settings that will force skip-intro to skip a further 10s and then auto skip back 10s so we don't have to do it manually each time? It's quite 'hacky' I know, but would be a slightly friction-less experience for those of us that experience the sync issues. 1 1
