What is the best way to rip & display old cartoons?

Looking for suggestions on the best approach for ripping old cartoons and how to add to library?

I have DVDs with old Looney Tunes cartoons with 40-50 shows per DVD.

Should I rip them individually or as a whole? I'm thinking individually, but seeking any guidance. Thank you.

From a metadata standpoint you are better off individually as I doubt they will align in a specific order.  But many need to compare what each provider has as TVDB breaks them down by year.
