emby pauses after 5 to 10 mins

I've had Emby for a number of years and never had a problem at all,  i have the server on my computer and play my media  via 2 different Nvadia shields  both have different versions of software and via my tablets or phone also different versions of Emby it seems , all at home. 

Up until today all have worked super with never a problem, from today for some reason after 5 to 10 mins the media freezes, and sometimes restarts after 2 or 3 mins,  this is with 264 or 265 files, I even bought premier as i hoped this might solve the problem  but no luck, if i play the media via other players like VLC they do not stop or freeze. 

any suggestions  to assist if you need any other info please let me know how to obtain as not the best on these things
