andreilis 2 Posted June 28, 2024 Author Posted June 28, 2024 Hi, @Luke Not for me, unfortunately. I have the same issues with 4.8.8. And it seems that the problem is really in my m3u. Please check PM. And one more note - after returning to 4.7 it seems to me that right now server is not as fast as it worked before I installed 4.8.8. I have no proof, it is just my impressions. So, by the way, I'd like to know - is it enough to remove the @appdata/EmbyServer folder to complete reinstall? Should I also remove the EmbyServer folder wherever I find it?

Hi, yes that is enough to reinstall.
vfducky 4 Posted August 16, 2024 Posted August 16, 2024 (edited) Hello to all interested. Some time ago IPTV m3u tuner stopped working again. The issue was resolved with hls_proxy. And it works more stably, without breaks in the stream. Apparently Emby somehow incorrectly processes HLS streams, and hls_proxy reads the hls-stream and can give a ts-stream at the output. What's interesting is that Emby normally records hls streams but does not play them. I recommend it to everyone. If anyone is interested, I can write instructions on how. Good luck to everyone. andreilis 2 Posted November 8, 2024 Author Posted November 8, 2024 Hi, @Luke, Looks like the issue is gone on 4.8.10, now everything ok with playback. At least on the Mac server, I haven't tested on my Synology yet. Do you plan to have 4.8.10 on the Synology package center? 1

It just takes time to get through the Synology review process. Thanks.
