XIaohe111 0 Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 "The image shows the files in the folder. The .bif file is generated from the .mp4 file. When replacing the .mp4 file with .strm, the .nfo file, and the .jpg file, Emby can read them properly. However, the chapter images from the .bif file cannot be displayed in Emby."
Luke 42080 Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 HI, I don't think we've ever supported this, but it's possible for future updates. Thanks. 1
Ronstang 294 Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 I use local STRM files to share local content across multiple libraries without having to have multiple copies of the video file. I have to keep a copy of the SRT file with my STRM for them to always work but the BIF file in the same location as the video file works fine using the STRM for me. I'm not exactly sure what you are doing here but if you have a local copy of the video file you should be able to make this work like I do. I just tested it on my TV accessing my other library and it works perfectly fine for me.
