Emby connect failing

Emby connect fails to show server. I am at a relatives house and have to be back to work in 30 minutes so I thought I'd give them access to my server.  It seems that was to much to expect.  Setting up on a FireTV, the Pin is confirmed (nothing happens) I select the next button after 5 minutes and no servers are listed.  Uninstalled, reinstalled, etc.

I have my phone with me and can access my purchased emby server and stream successfully. 

I need to fix this while I am here. Why is this so difficult?

Can confirm the PIN on the PC that is here using the number that Emby Theater provides. And can connect to the server and stream.

But now when I attempt to confirm the PIN on the FireTV it fails.

After an hour she opened Emby and my servers media appeared as expected.  Shouldn't this process go a lot smoother?

HI, for the Emby Connect user that you signed in with, did you follow this process to link them to a user on your server?

Where did you purchase this Emby server? Perhaps you should ask for a refund or do a charge back. This isn't how Emby works. You have been scammed.
