Yes, immediately after adding it.

I managed to get the server running again after shutting it down, removing /var/lib/emby/data/library.db, restarting Emby and recreating my libraries.

With 4.9.0.42 and later, it should be sufficient to just remove the erroneous path and the media libraries would adjust and get recovered
