What is mounted via RCLONE does not always work well. I decided to buy an apple TV and it has an infuse cataloger and Google drive, WebDAV, it’s all there, why don’t you want to implement it in emby?

This problem has been around for many years, but no one has fixed it. When you log into any library and click settings, you are thrown out of the application. The problem is on the Emby for Android TV client. Please fix Emby for Android TV

Hi.  Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?

The application is designed for the Android TV interface, and the regular version is designed for Android aosp. You can install these 2 applications yourself and compare; on a certified box it is much more pleasant to use the Android TV version. Looks cooler!!!

I just don’t understand why you have to prove that an application that exists needs to fix errors in it, but they tell you to use another one that is less convenient

Hi, the text has not yet been translated on OneSky. As soon as that happens, the app will get the updated translation.

There is also the home button on the remote. Or if you press and hold back, that will take you back to the app home screen. From there just press back one more time to exit.

Я вам давно писал про внешний плеер. Я использую emby как каталогизатор и он мне очень нравится, но мне не хватает возможности выбирать, каким видеоплеером его воспроизводить. На фото я показал как это реализовано в каталогизаторе jelly fun и в iptv Tivimate. Я использую разные потоки и не все могут или хотят воспроизводить exo player и тогда я могу воспроизвести этот поток внешним плеером, но как это сделано у вас сейчас очень плохо, так как мне постоянно нужно лезть в настройки и менять тип плеера. Пожалуйста, добавьте уже эту функцию.

@Люк hi. When you add an external player to the main screen. If you add , then maybe you can switch to the Android application.

Main reason I cant use that version is because of the "Allow TrueHD pass-thru" setting that's missing. I get a weird audio..Stutter? in some movies. When I uncheck that setting on the android TV version everything works fine.

Does your audio setup not handle truehd well?

For some reason it doesn't.  For most movies I probably could use the alternate track but some only have truehd so that setting solved the issue.

 

With some truehd tracks there are like pops in audio and I see the dolby vision enabled popping up again when it happens but when "Allow Truehd Pass-thru" is checked off it all plays fine. Had the same issue with Plex and could never find a fix until I started using Emby that allowed me to uncheck that setting, which allowed me to direct play it without audio issues.
