how to aviod specials show in season with emby 4.8?

In old emby server version. it can setting it by library.

but when i update the 4.8 version, this setting not found.

does anyone where the setting in emby server 4.8?

That option has been removed during 4.8+ beta cycle. Relevant topic:

 

Placement is now strictly controlled by "Airs during season" and "Airs before episode" Special episode metadata fields - if you don't want it shown/listed within season, clear those fields.

I have 255 different season anime...

Yes you are correct, this is a complete shit show, when they took away this option, to not have specials within seasons.

I for one did not like this change.

See the video about what you need to do to every media file, you do not want within season.

I'm still pissed about that change.

I write an C# program to solution this problem.
I have recursively scanned all the .nfo files under the Specials folders and automatically edited them. I have now resolved the issue for my 255 anime series. Thank you.
