Cannot access my server using emby app on my phone and tablet, but

This is rather strange to me, might not be for others. What am I missing?

I setup my emby server to work alongside another streaming service. I can access it just fine by going to the website (using noip, directs to my server and using caddy for reverse proxy). I can watch shows using any browser.

But when I try to use the emby app on my phone and tablet, it does not work. It says it cannot reach the server. Any idea?

HI there, did you try doing a new manual server connection and entering your server address manually?

Thank you for your response. What fixed this was on the app, I only entered the hostname, I deleted port 8096 that is on there and left it blank then I was able to use the app. 

Was this whats supposed to happen due to caddy (reverse proxy)?

HI, does your emby server dashboard display the correct remote address that you want your Emby apps to use?
