Wie kann ich in Emby den Fernzugriff eine Dyndns eintragen?

Finde das nicht in den Einstellungen

Not sure if I understand your question, but if you already have a host address for your Emby you can go to Settings -> Network and put it where it says External domain.

Reviving old thread, but I just recently realized how much more difficult I was making this. Since I have the https reverse proxy configured in the DSM login screen settings, I just turned on the synology firewall and don't allow direct access to any of the service ports (for emby or anything else I have a dedicated FQDN with reverse proxy). The only reason I couldn't do this earlier is because my home network router was very limited in its DNS/DHCP capabilities (avoid router-mode TP-Link Deco systems). Now that I have a better router which allows me to ensure all my clients are resolving internal DNS, I am ensured that my TVs can resolve the internal FQDN, and I can manually enter https://emby.<domain> as the server on them.

So only thing missing is ability to configure Emby server to actually advertise itself with the https URL instead of the http://<ip>:8096 URL.

Hi, does your server dashboard display the https address as your remote address?
