Apple TV: can’t get Home Screen to load

On iPad or phone, I can get the app and server it points at to load, albeit slowly, but on Apple TV I can’t even get the Home Screen to load. 

Just a wheel that spins…

I saw in another thread about doing a token refresh but im not sure to perform that.  Kind of an idiot when it comes to this level of tech

any help would be appreciated.

Read through that page but don’t see how I’d be able to send the log file tbh. 
 

under settings, all I see is 

change server, display, playback, subtitles 

version 1.8.3

Hi, you can get this log file from Emby Server, not the Emby Apple TV app.

Are you connecting to your own Emby Server, or someone else's?

Hi there, circling back on this. Where do I find  the log file?

I would be using my account to access someone else’ server

HI, the server log is what I'd like to start with, so we'll need involvement from the owner of the server. There's no way for you to obtain that without them. Thanks.
