Giving access to remote users

What’s the easiest way to give access to a remote user? I want all the remote users to have their own user name to be able sign into my server. Most people who use my plex are not the most tech savy either. Any help would be appreciated. I am running my server on windows 11.

Hi, have you tried adding users to your server and then giving them your server connection info?

The easiest I beleive is to just follow the faq.  Have them create an account here on the forums and then use said email on your server with a username for them, and enable Emby Connect.

I just do this:

1) Have person create an account at https://emby.media/community/index.php?/register/
2) Send me their email address they used to get the account.
3) They install a Emby client while ...
4) I create their user, putting the Emby connect email address in that Optional field and set what they have access to etc.
5) Tell them to connect as a test.
