A decode call did not consume any data

I am having issues that just started today with an family member whose ancient Firestick keeps getting booted.  Their firestick is so old that it does not support HEVC, so certain files are being transcoded.  Starting today, their show will kick them out during playback, and when they go back into Emby, everything is black.  They need to restart their firestick for Emby to work again.

hi, can you have them try lowering their in-app quality setting and see if that helps?

They are already being forced down to 3mbps because of their ancient firestick.

But what I can say is that:

..is nothing unusual at the end of a file. At this time, it already has encoded 872 segments of 3s, makes 2616 seconds or 43.6 minutes, which is exactly the length of the video.
In other words: It has just stopped after transcoding was finished.

I got them to replace the firestick as it was too much of a hassle to deal with them complaining.
