issues with android tv app 3.8 not showing files from secondery folder

i have Emby server on My Qnap

My libraries have movies en tv shows

Both have two folders containing files

only when i use app 3.8 there are no movies and tv shows of the secondery folder

in app v3.4 it works fine

in chrome it works fine

any idee

and when i select folders i can see the tv shows
