4.8.3.0 - Can't Copy API Keys Anymore

I went to copy an API key from Advanced > API Keys, and there is no option to copy it out anymore?

I can see the list of API keys, but if I create a new one or select an existing, the API key field cannot be highlighted or selected. So you have to type it out manually in the application you're using.

That's no fun with an alphanumerical API key, so I had to inspect the browser page and expand through the div class elements to find the API key to copy out.

Can you please add back a way to copy the API key from an interactable field?

Three-dot menu (at the end of the row) > "Copy to Clipboard".

Yeah I don't have that option, I only have "Multi-Select" and "Delete"

I tested this in the 4.9.0.11 Beta as well, same issue. No option to copy

Are you connected via https to a remote server, or are you using localhost?

This is about connection type and can only be done via localhost or https.

And a browser flag workaround.

Highlight it - CTRL C to copy it, then CTRL V to paste it (in Windows anyway ...)

But you can't now or should I say mine is like a swipe container so can't highlight.  So I just open dev console if needed.

Sorry I just notice that is a issue in List View.  Change to Table view to Highlight.

Was going to say, I can highlight, copy and paste via the keyboard shortcuts just fine as I do it all the time  ;)

Sorry if adding to this a year later isn't best practices, but it also seemed like a good place to start :) !

Table view doesn't let me highlight the key either... It seems like a partial issue with a work-around maybe no longer works.
I say, "maybe" because it also reminds me of the other web interface things that are quirky sometimes because of a touchscreen surfacebook connected to an external monitor.  (the scroll arrows on the screen either don't appear at all (I can move the windows from the external down to the laptop and drag with my finger with no problems),  or occasionally I thing they do show but still don't interact (not 100% I am remembering that correctly tbh).

Anyway, I am just trying to re-setup some other things and am DREADING typing these 5-6 different API keys... and before I get all "my workaround" on it (which will be CAREFULLY typing them (edit: inspected source and cut/paste) into a text file to save somewhere that I will OBVIOUSLY not remember WHERE whenever I need this again ;))
I tried suggestions of browser flags for disabling the touch input, but it didn't seem to help... and a custom CSS is a little more than I could create on my own, but if there is edits I can make or a custom I can use from elsewhere that would be helpful... Really I am probably looking at 2 separate issues, but since TABLE view isn't working for me the way it worked for @solidsnakex37

p.s. I use Brave (and tried edge, but that's still chrome as well), so I tried in Firefox with the same results.

Sound like a touch screen layout issue.

But the workaround with browser flags in linked topic would solve your issue also giving you copy to clipboard.

Agreed, but I have Touch UI Layout disabled, and am still running up against it.  Which flags in which topic are you speaking of? I am not getting something correct apparently.

TIA

What browser?  What have you done?  As the linked topic above explains it.

My bad... I mis-read what that flag would do... after I re-read it I understood if I just came at it from the outside (via my reverse proxy) I would have the cut-n-paste available, and did...

I guess in my head I just assumed i'd have more options available inside my network, but understand now the browser cares that it is or isn't http/s...

Thanks everyone for the help!
