congpw 0 Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 “I have a question regarding the Emby media server: How can I make Emby display the images from the ‘extrafanart’ folder as backdrops for my media?”
Abobader 3464 Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 Hello congpw, ** This is an auto reply ** Please wait for someone from staff support or our members to reply to you. It's recommended to provide more info, as it explain in this thread: Thank you. Emby Team
Luke 42079 Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 Hi, this is supported without having to do anything. If you have image files named correctly, then they'll be recognized by emby server and displayed on video detail screens: Movie Naming
9886008 0 Posted July 14, 2024 Posted July 14, 2024 No, it's not like that. It can display stills, but only in the background, and only one at a time. This is really a big drawback for me to appreciate the collection, after all, the preview image is a frozen wonderful moment. I want to display the stills such as fanart1.jpg... in the extrafanart directory directly on the movie details page, similar to a photo wall, so that I can see many wonderful moments at a glance. For example, it is similar to the effect shown in the figure below. Can it be achieved?
Luke 42079 Posted July 14, 2024 Posted July 14, 2024 Displaying them as a gallery is certainly possible. 1
9886008 0 Posted July 16, 2024 Posted July 16, 2024 So how can I display them as a gallery? I can't find it in Emby's settings.
pwhodges 2012 Posted July 16, 2024 Posted July 16, 2024 He means "possible to be added sometimes". Paul
