while playing music videos I miss the option to easily choose next chapter.

Maybe..
Could the option to enable this be hidden under the settings button?

Try Channel Up/Down button on the remote.

Did you also look at Playback options in the App settings?

Did you find this setting?

@Luke yes, I have been using it for a while, but I find it very laborious when playing a video concert, for example, because I then have to dive all the way into the menu

@SamESI have just looked at the setting, but it hides the play/pause and 10 seconds forward/backwards controls. that's not quite what I was looking for.

Did you try using left and right during playback?

This only makes it possible to go back and forth for 10 seconds or a multiple of that

Hi, have you tried holding it down?

Sorry for the late reaction.

I don't think it's a nice way and not easy to select the next chapter

Hi, what exactly do you think is not nice about it?

The next update to the app will have an "up action" option that will get you straight to the chapters tab when pressing up, if that's what you want.

I find the operation of the chapters very cumbersome and confusing in this way, it does not show which chapter is currently playing.

I prefer a forward button that is always visible when you acces the menu (or at least an option to enable/disable it in the settings)

We can add a watching indicator.

A watching indicator would be handy for those who acces the chapter menu, for me it would be the (forward)button that's always visible

For me personally emby would work best if i can specify (for example per library) how the osd menu should look

Edit: typo

finally I came across it, 'series' has it but 'music videos' doesn't, why is this actually and can't I set this per library myself?

please ignore this previous image I posted this week this is just confusing and I posted it because I couldn't find the forward button anywhere until yesterday...

Do you also use apps like netflix and disney? Correct me if I'm wrong but they don't have these buttons on screen, and yet they are controllable, right?

I only use Emby :)

the point is that I want to be able to operate it easily, but above all have the option to set it per library myself

Why does per library matter?

Posted

Well, I'm mainly interested in music videos now, but it might be useful if it were also available in other libraries.

Is this something that can be built in :) ?

of course I understand that you prefer the emby look as it is now, but perhaps such a forward button can be disabled by default?
