DTS-HD and TrueHD on New Firestick 4k and Cube

Any update on this?

There haven't been any updated apps in the Amazon app store so nothing further for me to try.

I saw that the Emby for Android TV app was finally updated in the Amazon store to to 2.1.14a.

I have tried it again.

Still no audio from any DTS-HD MA or DTS-X source. Standard DTS and DTS-HD HRA do work. 

Same for the latest standard Emby for Android app from the store.

Same for me. App version 3.4.36 on FireStick 4k 2'nd gen. DTS-HD MA shows direct play but no sound coming out. Soundbar Samsung Q930D. Plex plays the same file with sound (DTS).

Since it appears Emby has not stepped up to fixing this problem, the following workaround may be necessary.

I'm on a Firestick 4K Max and experienced no audio when trying to play DTS-HD MA audio streams in Emby (Fire TV app). I went to Playback Settings in the app and turned off "Allow DTS-HD Pass-thru" and that allowed audio playback.
