dvesely 3 Posted March 18, 2024 Posted March 18, 2024 I've been running Emby for several years (Premier)... I dropped a new movie (Poor Things (2023) and some music videos into my library yesterday and Emby does not show them in the library or the "newest movies" section. They are in the correct place in my file structure, but they don't show up in the library. I've checked several settings via these forums but no luck. Here is my log file Version 4.8.3.0 Thanks for the help embyserver.txt
rbjtech 5284 Posted March 18, 2024 Posted March 18, 2024 Lots of SQL errors in the log suggesting the database is locked - I'd suggest a shutdown and restart, then try again. if it still errors, worth doing a db vacuum (in server>database) - if still an issue, reply here and it may need a db rebuild.
Happy2Play 9782 Posted March 18, 2024 Posted March 18, 2024 Yes as mentioned your database is locked usually from a crash improper shutdown. Please follow the section to unlock the db. https://emby.media/support/articles/Corrupt-Database.html?q=corrupt#:~:text=Remove Database Locks 1
dvesely 3 Posted March 19, 2024 Author Posted March 19, 2024 Thank you for your quick response. I can't seem to locate these 2 files the referenced article says to delete. Cannot find: library.db-shm or library.db-wal My server's path shows: C:\Users\gjves\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata I've searched there and everywhere! Where could they be?

They are only there on a open database ie Emby is running. So shutting down or restarting Emby may have corrected the issue. Do you still get the same error in the log?
Luke 42080 Posted March 19, 2024 Posted March 19, 2024 Most likely you don't have a corrupt database. I see you're running emby server as a windows service. Most likely you've somehow managed to run two instances simultaneously and that's why one is erroring with all of these database locked errors. You probably have it running both as an application and a windows service. 1
dvesely 3 Posted March 19, 2024 Author Posted March 19, 2024 I think you have done this before! I set it up as a service so long ago, I forgot about it! Thank you! 1
