ss1969 0 Posted March 16, 2024 Posted March 16, 2024 why some folders don't have the identify option?? what's wrong with the folder name or contents name? usually happens on anime folder. there's no identify and remove identification option.
FatherSaint 25 Posted March 16, 2024 Posted March 16, 2024 I don't know if this is helpful or not, but I had something similar with a movie and did this to resolve it. Hopefully this will help or at least put you on the right track: - I exited Emby and moved the troublesome movie to another location that Emby doesn't contact - I restarted Emby and did a scan of my movie library (because that was the type of content that was causing the trouble) - I exited Emby after the scan was complete - I renamed the MOVIE to "MOVIE [tmdbib=XXXXXX]" (No quotes and whatever the TMDBIB number was) - I restarted Emby and did another scan of the Movie library and it correctly identified the movie this time with the help of that ID number. ebr 16183 Posted March 16, 2024 Posted March 16, 2024 Hi. Folders have no identification. The item would have to be detected as a movie or show, etc. to have the identify option. Be sure you are following our naming guidelines. Movie Naming
