Emby 4.8.x vs GitHub code changes

I might be late to the party and sorry if this question has been asked before,
I just saw that a new version of Emby server has been released, but looking at github MediaBrowser/Emby it seems like the last code change was 8 years ago.
Is it not the same Emby? Was that repo abandoned or is Emby no longer open sourced?

Emby hasn't been open source for several years now, AFAIK that's the latest OS version.

Thanks for the info, was so confused that MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases has a higher version that MediaBrowser/Emby. Now it makes sense
