DarWun 349 Posted March 10, 2024 Posted March 10, 2024 (edited) After updating to CoverArt 4.1.26, thumbnails for TV show episodes are no longer being enhanced. This is using Emby Beta 4.9.0.8 (Synology). I noticed this after adding an episode to my library (Episode 5 below). I rolled back to CoverArt 4.1.25 and refreshed the episode image. It showed correctly after doing so. CoverArt 4.1.26 CoverArt 4.1.25 The attached log captures the image refresh of the episode with CoverArt 4.1.26. embyserver.txt Edited March 10, 2024 by DarWun
Happy2Play 9780 Posted March 10, 2024 Posted March 10, 2024 On Windows 4.9.0.9 and CoverArt 4.1.26 appears to be working.
DarWun 349 Posted March 10, 2024 Author Posted March 10, 2024 (edited) Thanks @Happy2Play. Based on the errors in the log (Skia error - codec is null) it is likely specific to non-Windows platforms. The error doesn't show up when I enhance images for other media. It only seems to occur when episode images are enhanced. The aspect ratio for episode images also seems to be messed up. DarWun 349 Posted March 10, 2024 Author Posted March 10, 2024 It seems to be an issue with one specific treatment overlay: ClearCaseThumb. Other treatment overlays for episodes seem to work.
Solution DarWun 349 Posted March 12, 2024 Author Solution Posted March 12, 2024 17 hours ago, Luke said: Hi, is it consistent? @LukeIt was using version 4.1.26 of the CoverArt plugin (both with respect to the ClearCaseThumb treatment not being applied and the aspect ratio of treated images being "messed up"). At least on the Synology platform which is the only version of the server I'm currently running. CoverArt updated to version 4.1.27 earlier tonight, and after restarting the server both issues seem to be resolved. I'll post back later tonight to confirm once I've had a bit more time to review my library. Thanks!!! 1
