Awaiting the next server release.  As it is just a number change in the listview.js.

But as mentioned there is no such setting as Auto-Direct.

Auto-Direct only appears if Emby can natively play the file.  Now if it needs to stream the file it will show Auto-4K-160Mbps assume Auto is selected.

Sorry those don't exist but hopefully soon.

From the web client standpoint you can edit the listview.js file yourself to test.

Example changed chunk to higher value.

Direct meaning client can access the file and nothing is required to be converted.

Client complained about something and forced conversion.  Direct is not possible per something the client cannot do or just does not like.  And turning off conversion per user setting will prevent this item from playing completely.

Thank you for the screenshots. Looking fowrad to the update release.

I don't think editing js file is possible for me because all my emby setups are running on docker container. I will see if I can spin a new container and then try to fiddle around with the js file.

In the end it does not matter as you can set Auto via playback settings.

That is how my current setting is. I can understand technically it is auto-direct. Let me see the update release or js tweak when I get chance. If the issue still persist perhaps, if guys are okay, we should connect once on Google meet and check this once (not now, but may be in future, if needed).

However I am flattered with the kind of consideration and support you all are offering. Appreciated.
