Manual update with package version

Hey all.

Some info first:
Synology DS218
Package Centre version of Emby 4.7.14

Rather than wait for Synology to do their thing, can I manually install the newer version of Emby over the package installer, or would I need to uninstall the Package Centre version first?

I saw people having troubles when manually installed 4.8 package. I would hold until Synology releases the official one. It could take a while.

Hi, yes you can either install manually over the top or just wait for it to be released through package center.

It will probably be 4.8.4 by then. Thanks.
