Luke 42079 Posted April 24, 2024 Posted April 24, 2024 Hi, are you still having an issue with this? Have you updated to Emby Server 4.8.5?

ppfeufer 3 Posted May 17, 2024 Posted May 17, 2024 You mean in the user settings? Got that all set and still getting these issues when it needs to transcode.
ppfeufer 3 Posted May 23, 2024 Posted May 23, 2024 I think I found something. This only seems to happen after a video has been paused for a while, like 5 - 10 minutes and is resumed then. Maybe that'll help to narrow it down.

Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
ppfeufer 3 Posted June 5, 2024 Posted June 5, 2024 (edited) My theory seems to be right, it happens after a video that needs transcoding (audio only in my case) is paused and resumed a couple of minutes later. Here are the logs from around that time embyserver.txt ffmpeg-remux-71096451-5b03-4c78-ab0c-134bf5ed9471_1.txt Edited June 5, 2024 by ppfeufer
ppfeufer 3 Posted June 5, 2024 Posted June 5, 2024 The "Enable Throttling" setting in the Transcoding options might be involved. I had it enabled and saw the video stutter. I disabled it and no stutters anymore so far.
ppfeufer 3 Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 Ok, it's not the enable throttling setting. Just had a stutter even with it disabled after resuming the episode I was watching. ffmpeg-remux-e0a043f4-49c8-4f4d-b925-5d1616ce3d05_1.txt embyserver.txt
