Mookdog 90 Posted March 7, 2024 Posted March 7, 2024 (edited) Hey guys I am looking for someone who could possibly create a powershell script to have emby scan a particular folder in a library when something is added on my rclone drive. For now I have been manually doing it and its a pain the the arse. I am going to attach the powershell script used to plex. Maybe one of u fine folks could get it to work with emby Thanks Mook plex_update.ps1 Edited March 7, 2024 by Mookdog
Oracle 85 Posted March 11, 2024 Posted March 11, 2024 Hey @Mookdog Let me do some work on this and see what I can come up with. Just to verify - you're looking to have Emby scan a specific library (not a full scan) when something is added to rclone?

Oratorian 41 Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 (edited) Try the attached version. Since emby cannot trigger libary updates based on paths like plex, we need to work around this. For this you will find this part $libraryFolders = @{ #"libraryID1" = @("folder1", "folder2") #"libraryID2" = @("folder1", "folder2") # Add more entries as needed } To get the Libraryid navigate to embyweb open any library and look for parentId= in the browsers URL, this is your libraryID. Each LibraryID can have one or multiple folders associated with it, please check that they are coherent with the library settings in emby Set $pollingInterval to your desired interval, please be aware $pollingInterval = 3 means 3 seconds. Dont go under 5, it could cause system instability. Library-update.ps1 Edited June 9, 2024 by Oratorian
