Show login screen each time. But I’d expect if you’ve saved a password, and don’t have a pin enabled, you should be able to remember the password and not type it each time. 
 

I don’t want a pin on my kids account, it’s not convenient for them, but it also is not possible for them to type the password each time. It needs to be saved between logins if one chooses to.

This sounds a lot like the issue I have reported with the standard Android app over here:

@Lukewhat was your intention for this option? It's clear that it is not working the way people expect it to.

Can we just replicate the way the Android TV similar feature works please? ie. once a user has logged in once, their token is saved so they are no longer prompted upon next user select screen?

We will need to add another option to handle both variations, meaning showing login both with and without retaining credentials.

Please don’t let it take another year like it has to get here.  Being able to save a password was called out Multiple times in this thread alone. 
 

This is such basic functionality, who in their right mind wants to enter a password every time they open a media app. I would assume most people just want to Keep watch history separate.

I'm running the latest 1.9.6 on tvos end every time I click on change user it asks me to enter user/ pass and never saves. Is that correct

@Orangemanbrzbut don't you want a personal media server rather that one who puts all of your information into the cloud and sells it to the highest bidder?

I think the frustration is the amount of time it takes to resolve this. It’s been 3 months since it was added, in a very unusable state. It was previously a year to get to this state. 
 

User UX experience is huge, and this doesn’t seem like a priority.
