Actually I need to see the server startup log. This is a rollover from the previous night. Can you please restart the server and then attach that log? Thanks.

Here is a log after a restart and creating a playlist called TestListA1

@braigo64Apologies for the delay. Emby Server 4.8.9 is currently on the way up. Once you have that, can you please try again and then attach a new log file? Thanks !

Still waiting on a resolution to this issue. Playlists still don't stick around after being created. @Luke

Have you tried "refresh metadata"  then "find missing metadata"  for a playlist?  They reappear when I do.

Interesting is - this does not work to restore user playlists. I tried logged in as the admin or the user who created it. (m3u8 file is intact on the server)

I found this accidentally as a video playlist of cartoons suddenly displayed a very adult image that was moved/removed from the computer months ago when I added a second server and I could not find the source file.  After two days of checking the pc and meta for every file and folder on the system I couldn't even find the image itself.

As a last resort before removing and recreating the playlist I tried refreshing the meta and it disappeared.  I had seen this thread earlier and thought of it again because a playlist just picked up another stray image and I had to remember how I fixed it last time.  In checking I made sure the m3u8 files were intact and not pointing to any images besides the playlist.

DO NOT TRY TO REBUILD EMPTY PLAYLISTS.   WHATEVER IS GOING ON HAS TO DO WITH MEDIA LOCATION PATHS.

As soon as I tried to rebuild that one playlist - all my libraries except Music and Camera Uploads disappeared.  Not that network paths changed but they became invalid somehow.  It has been fixed by going to the library, copying the network path, deleting the network path and adding the same network path back in to the library.

Nothing will scan or find media even though the path is identical and correct until the current path is deleted and replaced.

my unraid docker version is still on 4.8.10.0 and says it's up to date. Is 4.8.11 available there yet or how should I get it updated?

Hi, sorry for the delay. It's not available yet, but it will be this week. Thanks.
