Make left Sidebar configurable

Could code be added in an upcoming release of Emby to make the left Sidebar, introduced with 4.8, configurable in Home Sceeen settings or set to closed/collapsed by default?
It would be great if it could be set in the Home Screen settings to an initial state of Open, Min-Docked, or Closed - which seem to be the 3 states.

I believe it relates to this item mentioned in the Additions and Improvements listed in the 4.8 Release Announcement?

Like disabling the blatant Plex side menu and in the Android app, if you press back on main home screen, you get the old dialogue back asking if you want to exit if side menu is disabled. At the moment it just dumps you pit of the app and we keep experiencing this and is most annoying. To those that love being dumped out if the app without warning, we'll they can still have that if the side menu enabled. 

In short, not everyone likes the side menu in TV mode as it looks like a computer app dialogue. Plex like too so offends me

Yeah I'm not a fan of the left bar either but you can't please everyone , some like it some don't so what now right ?  I think the entire top bar neeeds removed except the emby logo and the clock, the rest just keep it out of the home page. I like the emby logo on the top left though and the clock on the top right corner and the rest is just not needed at all. Other than that emby is perfect  even the live tv looks good long as your server is fast you will not have issues
