Mo3bius 0 Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 I have tried updating the images from my music library. Mostly it worked. For some folders it did not properly. For example: A folder is called "RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS - STADIUM ARCADIUM". The folder itself has no image. All the songs inside have the correct album cover image. I tried updating the media-data and images (with replace), but it does not change it. Any idea why this is happening?
Happy2Play 9782 Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 Are you referring to folder view? Where do you save images to? What is your Music library Structure setting? But in the end if folder view it requires images in folder.
Mo3bius 0 Posted February 29, 2024 Author Posted February 29, 2024 Quote Are you referring to folder view? Yes Quote Where do you save images to? Not sure. I havent clicked on any of the two available options. So my guess its in the database? Quote What is your Music library Structure setting? Unstructured. Just to make it clear, about 95% of folders are fine. The ones without images seem to be known bands where the other meta data is there. So in my opinion, it should find a image.
Mo3bius 0 Posted February 29, 2024 Author Posted February 29, 2024 Ok, now I figured something out. In the problematic folders, the songs do not have a primary image set. I DO see an image though. So this is the issue. The folder view probably just snatches one of the primary images and displays this. As none of the songs have one, it does not display one. So do I see images from the artist and not album/song?
Luke 42080 Posted March 1, 2024 Posted March 1, 2024 By the way if the album has an image then the songs can inherit from that, so it's not required that every single song have it's own image.
