alucryd 330 Posted March 1, 2024 Posted March 1, 2024 Nothing has been done yet, there is a new stable release coming which takes priority.
slaver666 6 Posted March 12, 2024 Author Posted March 12, 2024 Libvips and HEIC works after today version 4.9.0.9 update. Skia not found anyway but I don't now where it used. So Skia library is present in emby's libs folder. Thanks! 1

You must have had a library on your system get updated that the server is using, and now we need to compile against that new version.
slaver666 6 Posted May 10, 2024 Author Posted May 10, 2024 OK. All my FreeBSD 14 packages are updated with "latest" repository stream. 1
alucryd 330 Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 Looks like tiff got a soname bump, will link it statically (along with openjpeg) in the next beta.
HjanecksD03 3 Posted April 22 Posted April 22 FreeBSD support for HEIC has been such a bottleneck for organizing my media library lately. While waiting for a more permanent fix in the backend, I’ve just been batch converting my mobile uploads to JPG before adding them to the server. I found https://www.thetoolapp.com/heic-to-jpg/ to be really handy for this since it’s quick and doesn't seem to strip the quality like some other converters do. It’s definitely a lot easier than fighting with library dependencies for now! 1
