Is there any reason for the Android Tv app not supporting Theme videos

I currently use both I was just curious why the TV app didn't support it.

It is a feature that very few people use because it requires manually providing the themes so the work was just never done in that app.  It is not likely to be done at this point.

I use Trailers as the backdrop
