User playback doesnt always clear out when playback stops.

When users change episodes or movies on same device, old session sometimes stays open in Dashboard.  A restart of server clears.  This is new behavior since update.

When shows are complete, they don't seem to auto-clear themselves from playback session.  I have multiple user sessions where playback has reached the end of the show but session is still open.  This happened occasionally before, but is more frequent open.

From what I can tell users are on Roku, not sure if this is the cause.

Docker image on Unraid.  4.8.10

Hi.  When this happens do you see a "xxxx Stopped playing yyyy" in the activity log?

Similarly seeing this issue for a few weeks now specifically for transcoded streams, direct play does not seem to have this issue.  I notice it more on browser or Roku devices but I believe that is because those devices are the ones that primarily transcode.

@ebrAt least my experience with this issue I do see multiple "xxxxx stopped playing yyyy" in the activity logs with only 1 "xxxxx is playing yyyy".  Sometimes upwards of 4-5 of them within an hour for an episode of something that might only be 20 minutes.

Potentially related, this issue cropped up alongside a bug that would freeze video but continue to play the audio, then you'd get almost a fast-forward effect on the video to catchup to the audio.  This would then desync the subtitles until playback was stopped and resumed.

I'll upload some logs once I can convince my friends and family to tell me when this occurs instead of 2 weeks after the fact...

I did notice that the multiple sessions only appears on the dashboard (same user/device flips between multiple different shows and all are at the end of the program), they do not appear on the user sessions screen.  And for me, has only appeared for Roku devices, even though others have transcoded.  Apple TV and Browser seem OK.

OK thanks for the update. We'll look into it. Thanks.

Hi Luke,
I've attached the logs and related transcode logs from this time period.  User reported they experienced the playback issue occurring at 20:13-20:14double_finishedmessage.png.07ef2ef7c4fc123ce1bb0e020fcf7c6d.png
