collateraldamage 7 Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 (edited) Hey guys, I've run into a weird issue trying to play a particular film - the 4K80 release (it finally happened!), but when i try to direct play the file on my LG TV with the shield pro running Emby for Android TV, playback basically doesn't work - it'll play a few frames, and then the video refuses to play further. It's direct playing, and passing through both audio and video. The audio works just fine, it's just the video that isn't working. The video basically freezes, as the audio and subs continue to display on screen. I've tried sideloading the android app as well, and that will work slightly better - but instead of playing a few frames and freezing, it's playing at about 4fps. I've attached the ffmpeg-remux log for the playback on the android tv app. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't seem to have issues with other 4k movies in my library, it's just this particular film.
