CasualChuck 0 Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 (edited) I'm a casual user with a premiere subscription. It's been a while since I tried to look at my pictures (while = years), but they are definitely in the file system - on the rare occasion I want to view them, I USUALLY go directly to the file system. But in this case, I wanted to view them over the internet with my phone. Today, I tried to look at the pictures, but while I see the library and folders - and some of the folders have thumbnails with images on them, but no images, even the emby samples are not found. It's not that I see a file name and the picture is blank, it's simply says there are no files there. Period. I've tried restarting emby, I found a reference to the images cache folder and renamed that. I've rescanned the library, but still, nothing. I'm running 4.8.1.0 on Server 2016. Video work, but the Photos are not there. embyserver (1).txt Edited February 21, 2024 by CasualChuck Clarification

Luke 42080 Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 Hi there, how are your files named and organized? What do you mean by emby samples?
CasualChuck 0 Posted February 21, 2024 Author Posted February 21, 2024 I've had it installed for probably 5 years... and I have a "Sample Pictures" folder that I assumed was emby, but probably not if you're asking. And it turns out that folder IS empty. As for organization, see the attached screen shot. Most files are named whatever the digital camera originally named them, DSC_0107.JPG for example.
Luke 42080 Posted February 23, 2024 Posted February 23, 2024 Quote I found a reference to the images cache folder and renamed that. @CasualChuckwhat exactly did you rename?
