M3U setup issue

I have been trying to figure this out since yesterday. When uploading a m3u file or URL so I can get live tv running. Emby is crashing during the initial guide refresh and any subsequent refreshes. It gets to the same spot and then eventually nothing on Emby will load. I am still able to restart the server but it doesnt actually restart, I have to restart my computer in order to get emby functional again. I thought maybe there are just too many channels so I created a playlist on m3u4u with only 3 channels and I get the same result. The odd thing is that once I reboot all of the channels show up, not just the 3 in the playlist I created. I am using the m3utuner plugin and I have also tried using nextpvr plugin which works perfectly fine outside of emby (VLC) but as soon as I try to load it in emby I get the same result as any other way I have tried. I know its not a problem with the m3u itself simply because it works perfect in nextpvr and VLC on my computer as well as tivimate on my shield. I have attached the last two logs for reference.

Unfortunately I have tried that several times. It gets stuck like 20% or so through and then emby becomes completely unusable not long after, even the dashboard just spins and spins. I even let it run overnight last night for around 9 hours and it still hadnt budged and everything was locked up. The only thing that fixes it is to reboot my computer.

Hey Luke, I'm having a MUCH bigger problem right now. When people try to access my server remotely it takes them to a screen that says live TV and just spins. I am able to access it fine on my network. I have no idea what couldve happened. It's still trying to download the guide data even though I have removed everything to do with m3u. It's like it still thinks it's there but can't do anything with it. Guess I should've backed up....

I ended up nuking everything and restoring a backup of all of my emby files via backblaze (thank God for them) and I'm good to go. I will never attempt to do anything with live TV again lol.

Hi, we'll be getting a 4.8.2 maintenance release out in the coming days and I think there's a good chance it will resolve this.
