blackcatTN 3 Posted February 20, 2024 Posted February 20, 2024 The default logs are great, but if I have people streaming, I can't see much use for looking at the logs for non-streaming activity like adding movies or shows. We have a debug option in the admin log section, how about an admin option like "non-streaming logs"? Sure, I use grep but I have to know ahead of time what I am looking for. Watching /var/log file while anyone is streaming is pretty much overwhelming the usefulness of the other logged non-stream related items. Try it sometime. tail -f your logs and do a library scan, and see if you can pick out the non-streaming logged events if anyone is streaming.
Luke 42079 Posted February 20, 2024 Posted February 20, 2024 HI, yes it's an interesting idea. More robust log viewing options are certainly possible for future updates.
