Split video files and Extras Conflict

Recommended Posts

Titanic is a 3 DVD set with disk1 being part 1 and Disc 2 being part 2 and Disc 3 is several "extras".  Here is my folder structure:

...\video\Movies\Titanic (1997)\Titanic (1997)-disc1.mp4
...\video\Movies\Titanic (1997)\Titanic (1997)-disc2.mp4
...\video\Movies\Titanic (1997)\extras\deleted-scenes.mp4
...\video\Movies\Titanic (1997)\extras\Videomatics.mp4
...\video\Movies\Titanic (1997)\extras\1912 News Reel.mp4

Emby is running on Synology

Using web browser to access the library and I can only see: Additional Parts section with "Titanic (1997)-disc2.mp4" as a selection. There is NO Extras Area one the screen and the only way to get Extras to show up is to delete one of the parts. Is this normal behavior and I can think of several movies that have 2 DVD parts and Bonus material?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, with are the complete folder contents?

AFAIK you need spaces between the hyphens and the part names

so ..\video\Movies\Titanic (1997)\Titanic (1997)-disc1.mp4
should be ..\video\Movies\Titanic (1997)\Titanic (1997) - disc1.mp4

as per https://emby.media/support/articles/Movie-Naming.html

You could try merging the parts into a single file, I have had good success with MKVToolNix

???

If you are asking for the full folder contents, yes this is the folder structure and contents. It consists of the 5 files in the two folders, Extra folder is nested in the main movie title folder.

What do you see?  But testing this I don't appear to have an issue.
