I ended up putting in a firewall to block that traffic, so even if it tries to go right to the server it's forced to use the reverse proxy. I also didn't want it to do that because even though I was using my domain with https it would still try to connect to the server with http. I checked my firewall logs and I don't have any recent entries to know if I'm only seeing it from certain apps, like Android, or the web app/theater.
