lick2023 1 Posted March 1, 2024 Author Posted March 1, 2024 In such a situation, it is necessary to constantly add domain name servers, as most clients cannot use them and suddenly switch back to IP!
Lessaj 467 Posted March 1, 2024 Posted March 1, 2024 I ended up putting in a firewall to block that traffic, so even if it tries to go right to the server it's forced to use the reverse proxy. I also didn't want it to do that because even though I was using my domain with https it would still try to connect to the server with http. I checked my firewall logs and I don't have any recent entries to know if I'm only seeing it from certain apps, like Android, or the web app/theater.
lick2023 1 Posted March 1, 2024 Author Posted March 1, 2024 Yes, I used to do the same before, but it seems like I used Windows Firewall, which used to be effective, but now it seems like the settings are no longer working. I don't know where the problem lies! You can also access the IP directly!
