Hmm, it might actually, because the Emby app initially connects using the address that you entered, but later gets an updated value from the server, in order to stay up to date with address changes.

Unfortunately there isn't much of a way to know, depends on a lot of factors, it could take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. It doesn't seem like that many items though, it shouldn't take that long overall. I think it's a single threaded operation.

I think I understand what you're asking. You're saying that you have a reverse proxy setup, so you have a domain name that you're using, but you're still seeing traffic go directly to the server via IP? Or at some point you get redirected to use the server IP instead of the domain name?

That's right, it's about adding a server, using a domain name to add the server, and using intermediate traffic. However, with just one use, it automatically jumps to the original server IP, resulting in no use of intermediate server traffic!
